Light rain is generally not a concern for nearshore fishing trips, allowing us to proceed as planned. However, for offshore charters, the decision to sail is at the captain's discretion, prioritizing the safety of all on board. Florida's summer storms can arise quickly, and while we respect the power of nature, we also strive to ensure your safety and satisfaction.
In the event of a storm or if the forecast indicates high-risk seas on your booked date, we offer flexibility with your deposit. It can either be refunded or applied towards rescheduling your trip for another date. For cancellations made within 48 hours of departure, we provide a full refund. Unfortunately, cancellations made after this 48-hour window are not eligible for a refund. Our policy is designed to offer peace of mind while accommodating the unpredictable nature of weather, ensuring that your experience with Salty Hooks Fishing Charters is both memorable and safe.
Payment Info
Salty Hooks Fishing requires a $200 deposit upon booking to secure your fishing charter. The balance paid is subject to a 3.4% fee for credit cards. To avoid this service fee, charters can be paid for with cash.
Gratuities
Industry standards for fishing charter gratuities are 20% for the captain and the mate. These gratuities help make up the captain and the captain's mate's income. We thank you for your support!
